To whom this may concern,

I would like to share what the Carnival of Care has meant to my family. My youngest daughter was hit by a car at the age of 4 ½, back in 2003. She has and is still, working hard on physical therapy. Our lives were turned upside that December of 2003. Since then, our family schedule centers around caring for her needs.

Carnival of Care offers many things to our family. First, it is one day of fun for us to spend with people of all ages who are recovering from a traumatic brain injury. The kids get to play games and share their story with other families. Secondly, we notice that we are very grateful because her injuries could have been much more severe as with other survivors. Thirdly, my husband and I get pampered for a little while with a massage or just to relax and let Amanda go and play the games. Lastly, I like talking with many different kinds of services and providers whose main focus is to help survivors with traumatic brain injuries. I can stay up to date on things developing or services possible to help my daughter.

Thank you for helping such a great organization.
Sincerely,
Elizabeth Akers

While most fundraising events are typically black tie dinners built around an auction or some form of pledge drive, the Careforward Foundation has taken a different approach to securing the necessary resources that support the annual Carnival of Care. Let’s face it, the whole purpose of a fundraiser is to raise as much money as possible for a great cause. However, in doing so, we believe giving our Sponsors and guests, the very people who are so generously contributing funds to support the Carnival of Care, an amazing night to remember is the least we can do!

That being said, the 2012 “Grease! Is the Word…’ Sponsorship Drive has begun! And for those companies looking to maximize their sponsorship ROI, remember that there will be three (3) months of exposure opportunities to take advantage of as our marketing team hits the streets in an effort to raise $50,000 for the 2013 Carnival of Care and its beneficiaries.

So don’t delay. Secure your sponsorship TODAY!!

Welcome to the NEW Carnival of Care website!

As the Careforward Foundation and the Carnival of Care continue to grow, we realized that our efforts to keep all of those we exist to help, and all of those whose generous and gracious contributions support our cause needed to grow as well. As a result, we’ve implemented an all new design that we hope will engage our users with improved content, an interactive calendar of events, seamless integration with the latest Social Media resources, and an opportunity for our sponsors to connect with the very people they’re in business to help!

And because we are a young non-profit organization that relies on the generosity and support of others, we’d like to extend a special Thank You to Chris Ditty (7 Elements of Dezign), Brett Karl (Logistics IT), and Jon Zupancic (Creative Alchemy) for all their time and energy in creating our new website! In the spirit of helping to promote those who help us, Chris, Brett, and Jon have been amazing to work with, and are available to assist with any website, design, and/or digital media marketing project you may have.

We will be working to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of our site every day, so go ahead, snoop around, and let us know what you think!
